A Futurama Mobile Game Is On The Way!

UPDATE: According spAnser, who has taken a look at the websites source code, the games developer seem to be a company called Wooga. So, I went and googled them to see what games they've developed in the past. They have developed a number of games including Perl's Peril and Dimond Dash, check out their website for a full list of their games and info on their team. More info to come as it becomes available.

Overnight a new website has mysteriously appeared on the internet along with the above image and some news that a new mobile game based on FOX's other classic cartoon 'Futurama' is on the way.

Little is known about the game with things like the concept, the developer, the platforms it will be available on, and whether or not it will be free to download all remain to be seen.

It does have a slogan though; 'Kill all humans. . . on the go!' although that doesn't really tell us much of anything.

I personally am hoping for the following in regards to this game;
  • It will be a city building game like 'Tapped Out'
  • It will be free to download
  • It will be available on all major platforms at launch
  • It will be developed by EA
  • It will not involve TinyCo because they rely to heavily on premium content
  • It will strike the right balance between free and premium content
We should learn more about the game over the course of the weekend as I suspect all will be revealed at Comic Con this weekend. 20th Century FOX's panel is this Saturday from 5:45pm to 7:30pm in Hall H.

You can go to playfuturama.com to sign up for email updates but I will be posting any additional details as they become available.

  3. The model is an approximation to and a simplification of reality (even if it's an imaginary reality), because it is clearly impractical to include every detail down to the level of atoms or quarks. Domino QQ
